Hi,
I set this Gallery/Forum up to try and encourage fellow amateur photographers to display their photos and to invite comments and discussions from them.
It is NOT intended as a commercial professional affair and I am sure the professionals will have their own websites anyway. It is purely for people who, like me, enjoy taking photographs and would like others to see them, as well as seeing others' work too. This way we can also comment, praise or criticize among ourselves.
Hopefully there won't be much criticism! :-)
Please take a while to get used to the site. Read all the posts, look at all the portfolios, then please consider registering and maybe post your own photos or views.
You must register in order to post your own comments to existing postings 'threads' or to start new ones. Registering is easy-peasy too and takes just a few seconds. No personal details or information that will identify you are needed. You can remain completely anonymous if you wish, just using a nickname, throughout your membership.
Once registered (click on 'register' at the top of the page to do this) and when you receive your password by e-mail, you can then browse through all the postings and click on 'reply' on any posting you wish to add your own comment to. Or if you have something new to say and want to start off a new discussion on it, just click on 'new thread', enter a subject title for it and add your message. Simple as that.
Certain sections, like the 'Members Portfolios' are controlled by myself and to create a new members' portfolio board you need to request same to me directly by sending me a Private Message. Of course before you can do this, you must become a registered member.
Alternatively if you are not keen on registering at this time, just browse the posting as a 'guest' only. You won't be able to post anything but you can see everything that has been posted. Hopefully you will then be inclined to join in the fun and register.
When you return some other time, don't forget to 'log-in' first otherwise you will be treated as a guest and won't be able to post until you have logged in properly.
Looking forward to having you a s a registered member and eventually as a portfolio member too.
